Cliches om te vermy

Who can take away great suffering without entering it? In our own woundedness, we can become a source of life for others – Henri J.M. Nouwen (The Wounded Healer)

Cliches om te vermy

[Cliche = Afgesaagde, holruggeryde uitdrukking – HAT]

Konteks

Be careful when you give advice–somebody might take it.” Anoniem.

Konteks

The shop, the barn, the scullery, and the smithy become temples when men and women do all to the glory of God! —C.H. Spurgeon

Teologie van die kruis

Our pleasure and our duty, though opposite before,

Since we have seen His beauty, are joined apart no more.
To see the Law by Christ fulfilled, to hear His pardoning voice,
Transforms a Slave into a Child, and Duty into Choice.
